Evangelism is sharing the gospel (good news) of Jesus Christ with those far from God and inviting them to experience the Kingdom of God today. The apostle Paul poses the question, “How can the world hear, unless those who know God tell them?” This is the divine commission that the people of God (the church) have been uniquely given in the world, for the gospel of Jesus Christ is the only means by which people are saved from their sins and their lives connected with God.
At UNITED FRESNO, we seek to help you experience this with training and practical applications that will change the way you live.
We seek to:
- We open doors of hope, not judgment.
- Since love drives us, we can admit that we haven’t yet arrived.
- Programs and tools take a back seat to the work of the Holy Spirit.
- We don’t need to steer or control relationships.
- We contribute to relationships by being real.
- We understand that stories engage people more than “evangelistic steps” do.
- We know that questions are often more effective than having all the “right” answers.
- Love is always more important than knowledge.
