FAQs

Who can go to United Camp?
This camp is open to all students grades 9-12.

How do I register?
To register, please provide your payment, registration form, and signed parent permission slip to your participating United Fresno church.

Should I bring extra money?
The standard $125 cost includes; transportation, food, lodging, and group activities. Special activities like the ropes course, leap of faith, and paintball are extra. A snack bar will also be open daily.

Special Activities (Subject to weather and availability) Paintball $20 (for CO2, mask, gun, and 200 paintballs. 500 extra paintballs may be purchased for $15), climbing wall $5, ropes course $5, leap of faith $5 for two jumps

Other free-time activities include:
Basketball, Volleyball, Horseshoes, United Talent Show
Various Tournaments/ Competitions

What are the departure & return times?
We are departing from Peoples Church at 3:30pm on January 22nd. We will be returning in the afternoon of January 24th.

Can I drive myself to camp?
Students and parents are not allowed to drive to or from camp. Transportation is included.

What should I bring?

  • Bible/pen/pencil
  • Flashlight
  • Bedding (sleeping bag, pillow)
  • Warm gloves, waterproof jacket (Yes, it can snow)
  • Snowboots/shoes
  • 2-3 sets of activity outfits for recreation (you must not care if these clothes get ruined)
  • Toiletries
  • Bath towels
  • Soap & deodorant
  • Spending money ($15-30)
  • Snacks

What shouldn’t I bring?
If the following are found on you they will be confiscated and are grounds for dismissal from camp:

  • alcohol
  • drugs (unless prescribed by a doctor)
  • weapons
  • all portable audio devices
  • cell phones

What if I have food allergies, medical conditions, medicine, etc?
Make sure to tell us! All drugs, (prescription and over the counter) must be turned in at check-in.
